Southern friends who just returned from Harbin all told me that in temperatures of minus 20 to 30 degrees Celsius, if you don’t prepare the right gear in advance, your trip will definitely be an "unforgettable memory of freezing and shivering." Today I’m sharing the practical experience I gained from Ice City Warm Sun—all the tips to keep you warm while exploring Harbin Ice-Snow World and Central Street.
Our Service Starts with Confirming the Rental Period
Whether you’re traveling alone, with your family, or even with a whole tour group, the first step is to clearly inform our customer service of your rental period—when you want to start renting and how many days you need. This is the premise for checking inventory and calculating prices. Our mini-program has a dedicated entry for family trips, suitable for groups of 2 to 6 people. The head of the family can enter and fill in each person’s height, weight, and shoe size; the system will automatically match suitable gear. If the default package isn’t right, you can simply delete it, and there are tiered coupons and free exchange coupons to choose from—super convenient. This entry is much more hassle-free than selecting items one by one when the whole family is along.
Choose the Right Gear for Reliable, Worry-Free Warmth
Our gear is divided into rental and sale categories. For rental, we have down jackets, down pants, and ski suits; for sale, we have everything from hats and gloves to snow boots and heating patches—all brand new. There are three package options: 2-item, 5-item, and 12-item. Simply put, the 2-item package is a basic down suit; the 5-item package adds hats, gloves, and snow boots; the 12-item package even includes cotton pants, heating patches, and self-heating insoles. Don’t mind the extra steps, friends from the south—heating patches and self-heating insoles are lifesavers. Last time I wore two pairs of insoles, my feet stayed warm even after two hours at Harbin Ice-Snow World. By the way, snow boots should be two sizes larger than your usual size, with cotton insoles and thick socks to avoid cramped feet.
Core Guarantees for Worry-Free Fun
What’s most reassuring are our deposit and return policies: a 200-yuan deposit for down jackets, 100 yuan for down pants, with deposits refunded immediately upon return. Normal wear-related dirt and minor scratches won’t result in any deductions—this is our core commitment! If the size doesn’t fit, you can contact customer service to exchange before delivery; if it’s already shipped, you can still receive the gear and go through the return process later. The rental period is calculated by the hour: if you use more than 6 hours on the last day, it counts as a full day; less than 6 hours is charged hourly. You can also choose airport self-pickup or hotel delivery—free for downtown hotels, so you can receive your gear even if you arrive late at night. If you want to send the gear back after your trip, we cover the shipping cost to you; you only need to pay for the return shipping.
Our team are all locals from Harbin, and we just want friends from the south to enjoy snow activities without worries—staying warm even in minus 30 degrees Celsius. If you have any questions, just click the "Contact Customer Service" button on our mini-program or call 18182716820. We’re always available, and we’ll never let you freeze and feel frustrated.
